Advanced Computer Drafting Final Year Overview:
This year in AutoCad I created many wondeful projects. My favorite one was the "Raptor" Tank that i designed. I liked it the the best because it was an original and functional design that could be used in real world applications. The tank itself had a lot of detail and looked very realistic. It was also the first time i had used a texture in Rhino so the tank had a very cool camouflage pattern on it. The rendering came out very nice and i even made an animation with it using Bongo. The tank was at a firing range and shot at a target on the range. I wish that i could have made the animation more complex by making the tank or giving it more detail in certain areas of the tank.
Final Project:
For our final project i had to create an animation depicting a two balls moving towards each other and then as extra credit i had them go into two cannons and fire off the screen. One ball is made of foam while the other is made of brass.

Colonial Sloop
This is a colonial sloop. It has one mast and three sails. It is armed with six 2 1/5 pound cannons.
Sloop Gun Deck
This view depicts the six cannons for defense on the high seas. The main gun deck is where most of the rigging is managed and the crew would be fighting from this deck.

Sloop 2-1/2 Pound Cannon
The 2 1/2 pound cannon isn't very powerful against another large ship of the line but in the hands of a capable gun crew they can e devastating to small enemy ships.

From this view the helm and ship compass is visible. The compass is constructed of brass and points north.
Modern Tank - "Raptor"
This is a modern tank with futuristic and experimental weapons installed on it. It is a fully capable battle tank ready to fight any enemy over a variety of terrain. The tank is manned by a crew of three: commander, driver, and gunner. The tank has no need of a loader because the rail gun automatically reloads. It's camoflage is digital green.
"Raptor" Turret
From this view you can see the turret and the weapon systems on the "Raptor." The main weapon is a 2" caliber tactical rail gun capable of targeting and destroying almost anything. The top of the turret has a hatch for the commander with a laser cannon mounted on it for use against enemy infantry. Also two double missile launchers are built in to the turret for engaging enemy tanks or aircraft.
"Raptor" Drive System
The "Raptor" has a revolutionary drive system with six independent motors and treads. They are all identical for easy maintenance on the road. Each individual roller on the treads have air suspension and also each of the six drive systems are connected to the main hull with a massive suspension system. This creates a double suspension system in case on of them fails. In addition to this, the tank can still drive when one, two, or even three of the motors are knocked out and operate itself on the remaining systems. This is an advantage over conventional two track tanks that cannot drive when something breaks down or is destroyed. The tank has a massive brush guard on the front for plowing through almost any obstacle and ensuring that this this tank is unstoppable.
"Raptor" Rear
At the rear of the tank you can see the main hatch for the commander and gunner to enter the tank. It is also an where troops could be deployed from to support the tank during operations. There is a storage rack on the back of the turret for storing supplies or ammunition during extended encounters with the enemy.

Pocket Watch
This is an old fashioned pocket watch. It is constructed out of polished brass and chrome for the clock face. It has three diamond gems on the face of the watch. From here you can see the brass chain that can be used to hold the watch.

This is the Iphone 3GS on display. It is on the home screen of the iphone.
It is resting on a glass diplay case that tilts the smartphone at a 45 degree angle from the table.

SCE II - SpaceCraft Explore
This is a single man spaceship that can be used to explore unknown planets or section of outer space. It is outfitted with Triple Nitrogen Engines for maximum thrust and acceleration. The garage in the back of the verhicle houses a rover craft designed to explore the surface of an unknown planet. Superstrong landing gear makes this spaceship capable of landing almost anywhere.

Rover
This is a one man rover vehicle. It has a Laser cannon on the top for defense against hostile aliens or drilling through rock on an unknown planet. The cab of the rover is a completely sealed environment so the astronaut operate the rover without a spacesuit. The tinted windows are spaced all around the canopy for unobsrtucted
Living Quarters
It has living quarters for one man for an extended period of time and a Cyrogenic chamber for extremely long flights through empty sections of space.
Cockpit
As this ship was designed for one man is has a pitots chair and an array of controls in the cockpit.
Garage and Storage Room
This is where the rover and equipment is stored during space flights. It is accessed from the outside through a large revolving door.
Executive Chair
This chair was designed for big business excecutives who want luxury and style. The chair is comprised of teak wood ridges molded together. The arm rests are also made of teak. The supporting metal of the chair is polished chrome.
Desk and chair
This rendering displays the chair at an excecutive desk. The desk is made of teak and the top is thick glass.
